Vendor Standards
At Downtime Fleet, we partner with vendors who meet our strict standards, ensuring that every service provided meets the highest levels of reliability and quality. These standards help ensure that our customers are always in good hands, with service providers dedicated to keeping your fleet moving efficiently.
- Provide dispatcher with an estimate time of arrival (ETA) for technician
- Obtain before/after pictures of any and all repairs made w/out exception
- If the tech arrives and is unable to locate the unit or encounters any other issues, contact dispatch and allow us to attempt to assist prior to leaving.
- List the Downtime reference number on the invoice, along with the chassis, and container numbers. Please also confirm these numbers as accurate once onsite
- List the position of any parts replaced on the invoice
- List the cause of failure for any repairs made on the invoice
- Provide a brief description of repairs listed on the invoice
- If this is a tire replacement, list the DOT #’s for the on and off tire on the invoice
- If this is an FMCSA, we will need a copy of the correctly filled out FMCSA form as well as pictures of the old/new stickers.
- If repair costs will exceed $750, call us for an approval prior to proceeding with repair. Depending on the customer, an estimate may be required.
- No truck work is to be done without approval from Downtime Fleet Management.
- Provide dispatcher with a roll time at completion of service, along with necessary closeout details.
